Daylight Savings starts this weekend, and I know I'm ready for longer days. However, it is also a good time to take care of some things we don't often think about.
- Change the batteries in your smoke detector
- Change the batteries (if applicable) in your thermostat
- Change the batteries (if applicable) in your carbon monoxide detector
- Check and change your filters if necessary
This is also a good time to make sure your house is ready for the spring. The Spring can bring warmer weather and ALLERGIES. Making sure your ductwork is sealed and possibly upgrading the air filtration system can help reduce those allergies tremendously.
Give us a call at 980-235-0055 or email us at info@mycarolinahvac.com! We would be glad to come out and go over the check list with you and talk with you about your filtration system.
"Greener Living" Tip
Install a programmable thermostat, which can save an
estimated $150 yearly if preset to cool or heat your home's air
(such as before you get home from work).
